Running for a good cause – Our Contribution to the Wings for Life World Run

When sporting spirit meets social purpose, great things can happen. At the Wings for Life World Run 2025, 31 of our employees laced up their running shoes to support a single goal: to support spinal cord research.

Stronger Together

The Wings for Life Foundation was established in 2004 and funds research into spinal cord injuries. The Wings for Life World Run is a global charity event. According to the foundation, 100% of entry fees and donations go to spinal cord research.

Our Tyrolit team joined from across five countries – China, Thailand, Turkey, Czech Republic, and Austria – covering a combined distance of 325.28 kilometres. Standout individual performances came from Theresa (25.81 km), Thomas (25.65 km), and Manuel (20.34 km).

In a strong show of support, our management donated €10 for every kilometre run by the team – resulting in a total contribution by the Tyrolit Group of €3,252.80 to the Wings for Life Foundation.
